Kemmlit
KEMMLIT is an independent company of the Kemmler group of companies from Tübingen. The Kemmler company was founded in 1885, has remained family-owned to this day and is managed in the fifth generation by Dr. Marc Kemmler. In 2018, the group of companies was able to generate sales revenue of around 510 million euros with approximately 2000 employees.
KEMMLIT was founded in 1967 in Dusslingen in the district of Tübingen. The core business of the company is developing and manufacturing sanitary partitions; KEMMLIT is the European market leader in this area.
With the entry into HPL processing some 20 years ago, the “furniture manufacturing” division was created, which primarily specialized in personnel changing rooms and personnel airlocks.
This in turn led to the development of the “cleanroom furniture” division, which now operates completely independently within the KEMMLIT activities. Today, we look back with pride on the development of the cleanroom division – after all, we are now the German market leader in the area of HPL processing.
To manufacture our products, we use chipboard with melamine resin coating and chipboard as a laminate board with HPL coating as well as stainless steel, depending on the application.
